Woburn

The White Cottage is only 7 miles from Woburn Golf & Country Club. Woburn and Woburn Sands have beautiful Garden Centres, and Antique Shops.

With its gently rolling landscape this is a good area for cycling, and numerous cycling trails will be found especially in mid-Bedfordshire around Woburn, Ampthill and Old Warden

The Greensands Ridge walk takes a high route along the ridge of Greensands which crosses the centre of Bedfordshire and continues both to the East and West.
You can follow this route from Woburn past Ampthill, Old Warden to Sandy.

There are also Woburn Safari Park and Woburn Abbey for a brilliant day out.
